The Margaret L. Wendt Foundation has authorized a $15,000 grant to Tri-County Memorial Hospital in Gowanda to upgrade equipment in its radiographic room.

The new equipment, which includes a new room, allows for immediate diagnostic viewing and extremely low doses of radiation to the patient. Dr. Joseph M. Tabone, president of the medical staff and a radiologist, said the new equipment performs special detail images that the other machine was not capable of performing.
