Tom and Patti Brosius of 1108 Marcia Drive, North Tonawanda, are the winners of North Tonawanda's annual community pride Christmas lighting contest, Mayor Elizabeth C. Hoffman announced.
The runner-up in the overall holiday category was Mike Erickson of 112 South Meadow Drive.
Winners in other categories were: most original, Christine Kuntz, 574 E. Goundry St., first; Dave Sternagel, 1025 Castlebar Drive, second.
Best decorated business, Northside Florist, 458 Oliver St.; runner-up, Brunner Funeral Home, 156 Robinson St.
Best decorated window, Jennie Rogers, 198 Christiana St., first; Patricia Retzlaff, 569 Mazda Terrace, second.
Best decorated door, Karleen Petersen, 1440 D'Angelo Drive; Jody Ziehm, 314 Linwood Ave., second.
The special mayor's award went to Matthew and Karen Hamp of 338 Goundry St. Winners received cash awards and gift certificates.
