A funeral service for Edward Sniadecki Jr. will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Saber Funeral Home, 549 Oliver St., North Tonawanda. There will be a private burial.
Sniadecki, 65, of Moll Street, died Monday (Dec. 17, 1990) in DeGraff Memorial Hospital, North Tonawanda.
Born in Buffalo, he lived in North Tonawanda for the past 32 years.
Sniadecki was a retired senior master sergeant of the 107th Fighter Interceptor Group at Niagara Falls Air Reserve Base, where he served for 30 years.
He also fought in the Korean and Vietnam wars.
Sniadecki was a member of AMVETS Post 26 and past commander of Post 9011, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and Wheatfield Post 1451, American Legion. He was also past chairman of the St. Joseph's Catholic Church lawn fete and the church's Holy Name Society and was active with Little League football and baseball programs in North Tonawanda.
Survivors include his wife, the former Gloria F. Jankowski; three sons, Edward of South Carolina, Robert of Niagara Falls and John; a daughter, Darlene Aderman; a sister, Janet Reynard of Cheektowaga, and seven grandchildren.
