The outrageous request of State Comptroller Edward Regan for a salary increase for himself and other state leaders should be met with total rejection by all concerned.
They should follow the example of the governor who was given a $20,000 increase in 1986 and refused to accept it.

'I'd do Regan's job
for half the salary'
I am glad Gov. Cuomo denied pay raises of $10,000 to Comptroller Edward Regan and others.
If Regan cannot make a living on $110,000 a year, then he should quit and seek a higher paying job. I would be willing to do his job for half of the salary he is getting.
