A Mass of Christian Burial for Aloysius A. Wittmeyer, former North Collins town clerk and School Board member, will be offered at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Martin's Catholic Church, 10893 Sisson Highway, Langford.
Prayers will be said at 9:30 a.m. in the Wentland Funeral Home on Main Street in North Collins. Burial will be in St. Martin's Cemetery, Langford.
Wittmeyer, 80, died Friday (Dec. 14, 1990) in the Hamburg Health Care Center.
He served as North Collins Town Clerk from 1948 to 1964 and on the North Collins School Board from 1954 to 1958.
A North Collins native, Wittmeyer was an electrician. He retired several years ago from the Lehigh Portland Cement Co. in Buffalo.
He was a charter member of the Langford-New Oregon Volunteer Fire Department and a member of the Holy Name Society at St. Martin's Church in Langford and the board of the Beekeepers Association of Western New York.
Survivors include his wife, the former Anna Foryciarz; three sons, Donald, Leonard and David; four daughters, Nancy Kuehlewind, Catherine Bauer, Carol Miller and Marie Cirillo; three brothers, Clarence, Raymond and Nelson; four sisters, Wilma Fox, Valera Smith, Verna Koester and Lorain; 17 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
