BETTY OATES

A Mass of Christian Burial for Betty Oates, 68, of Rogers Avenue will be offered at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 168 Chestnut St.

Prayers will be said at 9:30 in the Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St. Burial will be in Cold Spring Cemetery.

The former Betty Peterson died Monday (Dec. 10, 1990) in her home after a long illness.

She was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society at St. John the Baptist Church.

She was the widow of William F. Oates Jr.

Surviving are two sons, James M. and Paul K.; four daughters, Constance M. Ekback of Hackensack, N.J., Molly E. Kirchgraber of Williamsville, Pamela J. Sherman and Nadine L. Dames, and five grandchildren.
