A judge granted a divorce today to Donald and Ivana Trump, citing the millionaire developer's "cruel and inhuman treatment" of his wife.
Mrs. Trump, supported by her lawyer, Michael Kennedy, fled the Manhattan courthouse in tears after the divorce was approved.
State Supreme Court Justice Phyllis Gangel-Jacob granted the divorce in response to a petition by Mrs. Trump.
Trump had a much publicized affair with would-be actress Marla Maples in the past year.
The judge said all other issues such as maintenance, child support, equitable distribution and the validity of any pre- and post-marital agreement will be decided at a later trial, unless they are otherwise resolved.
