A service for Maynard N. Wyatt will be held at 1 p.m. Friday in Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church, 1525 Michigan Ave. Burial will be in Forest Lawn.
Wyatt, 66, died Friday (Dec. 7, 1990) in Sisters Hospital after a brief illness.
He was a career employee of the U.S. Postal Service, working there for 35 years.
Wyatt was born and brought up in Dinwiddie, Va., and made his home in Buffalo after service in World War II.
He is survived by his wife, the former Bessie West; two daughters, Cynthia Jewell Colbert of Birmingham, Ala., and Cheryl Caldwell of Darmstadt, Germany; a sister, Mildred Johnson; three brothers, Benjamin, Theodore and David, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
