A Mass of Christian Burial for Leona B. Kropelin, a former Akron, N.Y., resident who moved to Cambridge 10 years ago, was offered Monday in St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church. Burial was in Mountain View Cemetery.

Mrs. Kropelin died Saturday (Dec. 8, 1990) in Fanny Allen Hospital, Colchester, after a long illness. She was 76.

The former Leona Demerle was born in Buffalo. She retired as an assembly-line supervisor for the former Mennen-Greatbatch Electronics Inc. in Clarence, N.Y. At one time she had worked as a teacher's aide in the Clarence Central schools.

She was a member of St. Mary's Church in Cambridge.

Her husband, Kenneth W. Kropelin, died in 1965.

She is survived by two sons, Michael J. of Akron and William K.; two brothers, Victor Demerle of Getzville, N.Y., and Joseph Demerle of Buffalo, and seven grandchildren.
