The state Thruway Authority will hold its first meeting in Buffalo when it convenes at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Mahoney State Office Building.
Authority Chairman Peter Tufo said the meeting will seek comment from local residents.
"It's important to me that the Thruway reach out into the communities it serves," he said. "Holding meetings in areas along the Thruway corridor helps achieve this goal."
Tufo serves on the board with former Erie County Clerk Genevieve Starosciak. A third seat is vacant.
