PENNSYLVANIA STATE POLICE SEEKING MAN WHO SHOT DEER

Pennsylvania State Police are looking for the gunman who shot a tame buck inside a fenced enclosure here Wednesday.

The year-old domesticated buck, owned by Frederick John Lorenzo, 43, was shot in the leg with a 12-gauge shotgun as it stood in the enclosure on Lorenzo's property along Route 6.

The deer, which survived the attack, was shot sometime between midnight and 10 a.m. Wednesday. The assailant could be charged under cruelty-to-animal statutes.
