Jurors continued to focus on the timing of the attacks on three Central Park joggers as they completed another day of deliberations Sunday without reaching a verdict.

In just 2 1/2 days of deliberations, the jury has sent out 17 notes, most of them for more information about the charges against Kevin Richardson, 16, and Kharey Wise, 18, and about the timing of the attacks they are charged with taking part in.

Attorneys for the defendants said they believed the jury was considering the defense's contention that Richardson and Wise entered the park with a group of 30 to 40 teen-agers, but did not take part in the attacks on the joggers. A few of the attacks that night in April 1989 took place within minutes of each other.
