Alice Carroll French of Orchard Park and Jeremy M. Jacobs Jr. were married Saturday at 4:30 p.m. in Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church, New York City, by the Rev. Dr. Kenneth O. Jones. A reception was given in the Harvard Club. Parents of the bride are Sarah W. French of South Salem and Carroll D. French of Alstead, N.H. Mr. and Mrs. Jeremy M. Jacobs of East Aurora and West Palm Beach, Fla., are the bridegroom's parents. The couple will live in Orchard Park after traveling to Anguilla.
An attorney with Hodgson, Russ, Andrews, Woods & Goodyear, the bride is a graduate of Colgate University and University of Pennsylvania Law School. Her mother is a senior staff editor of Reader's Digest General Books. Her father, retired assistant general counsel of Primerica Corp., is adjunct professor of business law in Keene State, University of New Hampshire. The bridegroom, a graduate of Georgetown University, has a master of business administration degree from Wharton School of Business of University of Pennsylvania and is an assistant vice president of Delaware North Cos., of which his father is chairman and chief executive officer. His father also is chairman of Goldome Bank and owner of the Boston Bruins Hockey Team.
