a 46-foot catamaran that can hold 45 passengers plus crew -- will take its inaugural sail here at 2 p.m. Tuesday from the patio of Crawdaddy's Restaurant in the Erie Basin Marina.
The boat, which was to set sail this week, will carry young people with cystic fibrosis, several Buffalo Bills and Sabres players and members of the Cystic Fibrosis 65 Roses Sports Club.
"We'll offer complimentary cruises throughout the summer for individuals with disabilities," said Peter Cromwell, manager of the Moondance. The craft is owned and operated by Yacht Cruises.
Moondance also will be available to the public for cocktail, lunch and dinner cruises of about two hours, Cromwell said. Summer discount coupons will be available through local supermarket displays set up by the Buffalo Pepsi Cola Bottling Corp.
