AKRON BASEBALL LEAGUE GETS $600 FROM JIM KELLY CLUB

The Akron Sports Youth Baseball League has received $600 from the Jim Kelly United Way End Zone Club for its efforts to work with the youths of the community in organized sports activities.

James E. Wilson, president of Akron Sports Inc., said the money will be used to purchase equipment.

The program serves 150 children, ages 5 to 13, who live in the Akron-Newstead area, the boundaries of the Akron Central School District.
