A LONG TIME -- Eric and Erna Boehm of Orchard Park have been married 66 years today. He's 86 and she's 85. They were married in Massachusetts. . . .
MOVING UP -- Michael Levy, outdoor writer of The Buffalo News, has been elected third vice president of the Outdoor Writers Association of America, a non-profit organization of more than 1,900 members. He was elected at the association's recent 63rd annual conference in Salt Lake City. . . .
APPRECIATED -- Another staffer of The Buffalo News, sports writer Maury May, has been honored by the Erie County Suburban Women's Bowling Association. He was presented the association's "Appreciation Award" at a recent awards dinner in Blasdell.
Jean Luber, secretary of the association, said the award was "created to salute a person or persons who have given time or efforts to the game of bowling and, in this instance, to 'us' in Erie County." She said the award is not presented every year "and that sort of makes it special to the recipients in that the chosen few are special people to us." . . .
A BUFFALO NATIVE son, William F. Eddins, has been appointed an associate conducting fellow with the Los Angeles Philharmonic for this summer. The 1979 Calasanctius graduate will conduct his first performance July 15. He's a graduate-degree candidate at the University of Southern California. . . .
