William Keasling, principal of Kenmore East Senior High School for the last 12 years, has been appointed as the Kenmore-Town of Tonawanda School District's new administrative assistant to the superintendent.

Keasling will serve as a liaison between the Ken-Ton School District and local industry, as well as with visitors to the district interested in learning more about successful programs in the district. He will also seek to exchange information about programs and curriculum with other districts.

Keasling has been in high school administration for 21 years. He has been an educator since 1963. After teaching social studies in two different school districts, he was appointed as an assistant principal at age 27.

From 1974 to 1979, he served as principal at schools in Memphis, Mich., and in Orchard Park.
