Albert W. LeClaire, 64, who owned and operated the Al LeClaire Photography Studio in Niagara Falls, died Wednesday (June 27, 1990) in his Portage Road home after a long illness.
Born in Buffalo, he had lived in Niagara Falls for 20 years. He previously worked for the Zelonis Photography Studio in the Town of Niagara.
He served in the Army during World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Phyllis; a son, Phillip; two stepsons, William Joseph and Jared Joseph; two daughters, Suzette Plaza of Buffalo and Jackie Kruger of Alden; his father and stepmother, Albert and Helen LeClaire of Peterborough, Ont.; three brothers, Robert of Florida, Alan of Tonawanda and Richard of Grand Island; a stepbrother, Chuck Bedlington; two stepsisters, Eleanor McDougall and Pauline Johnston, both of Ontario, and five grandchildren.
A memorial service will be scheduled Saturday evening in the Magaddino Memorial Chapel, 1338 Niagara St. A committal service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Riverdale Cemetery, Lewiston.
