FALLS YOUTH, 16, PLEADS GUILTY IN PURSE-SNATCHING

A 16-year-old Niagara Falls youth, who pleaded guilty to third-degree robbery in connection with a purse-snatching case in a supermarket parking lot, will be sentenced July 24 by Niagara County Judge Charles J. Hannigan.

Andrew S. Thompson of 2961 Ontario Ave. pleaded guilty to the charge Tuesday in connection with a Jan. 21 case in which a purse was stolen from a 78-year-old woman in the lot of the Super Duper store at the City Market in Niagara Falls.
