WOMAN HURT IN POMFRET IDENTIFIED BY INVESTIGATORS

Chautauqua County sheriff's investigators Monday identified Sandra Jackson, 32, of Jewett Avenue, Buffalo, as the woman who was found injured on a town road early Sunday.

Investigators said Ms. Jackson suffered multiple abrasions and hypothermia. She was listed Monday in stable condition in Brooks Memorial Hospital in Dunkirk.

Her injuries are indicative of the kind that could have come from being pushed from a vehicle, police said.

Because of her condition Sunday, investigators could not question her.
