Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Stephen Episcopal Church, 6 Cayuga Drive, for George A. Cassatt, 67, of Pierce Avenue. Burial will be in Riverdale Cemetery, Lewiston.
Cassatt, a native of Claredon, Pa., died Sunday (June 24, 1990) in Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center.
A retired pipefitter, he had been a Niagara Falls resident since 1935 and retired on disability in 1973 after working 25 years for the former Hooker Chemical Co., now Occidental Chemical Corp. He lived in Ransomville from 1975 until 1983, when he returned to Niagara Falls.
Cassatt was an Army veteran of World War II.
He was a member of St. Stephen Church and the Boy Scouts of America and was the founder of Boy Scout Troop 56, Ransomville.
Survivors include his wife, the former Doreen M. Birmingham; three daughters, Donna Dyke of Bear Lake, Pa., Elizabeth Cantara of Lewiston and Carol Coffelt of Branson, Mo.; two sons, George L. of Angleton, Texas, and Richard; two stepsons, both of Texas; a brother, Norman of Warren, Pa.; 15 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
