Gov. Cuomo said Monday that he doesn't feel threatened and wishes he could have less security protection.
"Let's face it, if they want to get you, they'd get you any time," said Cuomo after his dedication of a Korean War memorial.
Cuomo's comments came a day after the Syracuse Herald American reported that security at the Executive Mansion had been tightened and that Cuomo's mail was being X-rayed.
"I prefer to do without it," said Cuomo of such security measures. "They say that's imprudent."
