The Olean Area Chamber of Commerce and City of Olean will team up Wednesday to honor Buffalo Bills quarterback Jim Kelly at the Chamber's monthly luncheon.

Kelly will be recognized for his efforts and contributions to youth development in Western New York.

The event begins at noon in the Park Inn International. Mayor John Ash will present Kelly keys to the city, and Daniel Harris, the Chamber's executive director, will give Kelly a special award.

For the past three years, Kelly has made the Olean area his home during the last week of July while sponsoring the Jim Kelly Celebrity Football Camp at St. Bonaventure University. Harris said the camp and Kelly's involvements have made a positive impact on the Olean area.

A portion of the luncheon proceeds -- at Kelly's request -- will be donated to the Children's Learning Center, a special educational service of the Allegany Rehabilitation Center. Tickets will be available at the door.
