Corinne Ann Melancon, an actress, singer and dancer, and David G. Shank, a vibraphonist with the jazz group Wishful Thinking, were married Saturday at noon in Kenmore United Methodist Church. The Rev. Anthony Fantuzzo of Rochester, cousin of the bride, performed the ceremony for the daughter of Emma A. Melancon of Town of Tonawanda and the late Donald W. Melancon and the son of Virginia F. Shank of Los Angeles, Calif., and Clarence G. Shank of Las Vegas, Nev. A reception was given in Lyon's Countryside Inn before the couple left for Maine. They will live in New York City and Los Angeles. Dr. Nelson C. Ribble gave the bride in marriage. A graduate of Kenmore East High School and cum laude from Niagara University, she appeared in the original Broadway production of "Me and My Girl" and is choreographer for its production in Brunswick, Maine. The bridegroom, a graduate of University of Nevada, will play at the North Sea Jazz Festival in the Netherlands in July.
