A reception was given in the Twentieth Century Club after the marriage of Belinda Bradford Barton and Charles Chapin Carlson Jr. at 4:30 p.m. Saturday in Westminster Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Thomas P. Stewart performed the ceremony.
John T. Barton of Clarendon Place and the late Maureen O'Connell Barton are the bride's parents.
The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Chapin Carlson of Cleveland Avenue.
After sailing around the British Virgin Islands and a trip to Nevis, West Indies, the newly married couple will be at home in New York City where the bride is design director for home furnishings at Polo Ralph Lauren Corp. She attended Northeastern University and was graduated from Buffalo State College. The bridegroom, a graduate of Nichols School and Skidmore College, is an editor for Rodman Publishing, Ramsey, N.J.
