Robert Wolcott, 74, former head miller at the Seaboard Allied Milling Co. of Buffalo, died Friday (June 22, 1990) at Mercy Hospital after a short illness.
Born in West Middlebury, he came to Buffalo in 1936. Since 1952, Wolcott has been a member -- and a past president -- of the Winchester Volunteer Fire Company in West Seneca.
He was a member of the Holy Name Society of St. Williams Church and the Knights of St. John's in West Seneca.
Survivors are his wife Sophia "Pat" Wolcott of West Seneca; three daughters, Mary Darmstedter of Lancaster, Monica Choi of Philadelphia, Pa., and Marjory Moretta of Elma; five sons, Robert of West Seneca, John of Niagara Falls, Richard of West Seneca, Michael of West Seneca and Patrick of Cheektowaga; four brothers, Chalmers of Castile, Bradley of Franklinville, Henry of Perry and Stewart Casselbury of Silver Springs; two sisters, Florence Karrer of North Tonawanda and Dorothy Page of Dale, and 15 grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 9:30 a.m. Monday in St. Williams Church, 1 Arcade St., West Seneca. Burial will follow at St. Matthews Cemetery in West Seneca.
