RICH DAY CARE CENTER TO OPEN ON SEPT. 4

Rich Products Corp. will open its new child care center at its building at 1200 Niagara St. on Sept. 4, the Buffalo-based frozen food manufacturer said.

Rich also said that Longview Niagara Inc., a Buffalo child care and education firm, has been selected to manage the Rich Child Care Center in conjunction with the company.

Rich said it believes it is the first major Western New York company to offer its employees on-site child care services. The center will be able to accommodate up to 75 children, ages eight weeks to six years.

Marshall Jost, executive director of Longview Niagara, will serve as the initial project director for the center. Jacquelyn Jones, Longview's director of early childhood programs, will be the center's director.
