Robb Walter tossed a one-hitter for his third win as Jurek Post beat Pignataro, 11-0 in a AAABA game Thursday at Delaware Park.
Ralph Pollow had three hits and two RBIs for Jurek. Joe Bowman and Mike Swann each added two hits and two RBIs for the winners.
In other AAABA games, BFI's Mike Wahl also pitched a one-hitter, a 7-1 victory over Al Maroone. Wahl's no-hit bid was broken up in the sixth inning on a leadoff single by Dave Mahoney. Eric Ziobro had a three-run homer for BFI . . . Jack Adkins (4-1) beat Royal Printing, 10-4, behind Mike Madigan's three-hitter. Madigan was supported by a 14-hit attack, including three hits (two of them doubles) and three RBIs by John Davidson . . . Marc Gronwall allowed only three hits and struck out six as Town Enterprise defeated Leib's, 2-1. Andy Hyland had two hits for Town Enterprise.
CEBA: Lancaster (4-1) was led by Tim Forrest (homer), Scott Stinson, Rob Beckman and Kevin Schadel with two hits apiece in a 9-2 win over East Aurora (0-5). Paul Schroeder had a four-hitter for Lancaster . . . The Falcons improved to 5-0 with a 14-8 win over Cheektowaga. Matt Raines had three hits to pace the Falcons' 15-hit attack. Jason McCabe limited Cheektowaga to five hits . . . Dale Werth had three hits as Springville defeated Gowanda, 11-9.
International AA: Nice Construction beat Lancaster, 11-4, behind two home runs from Bill Lubecki and the five-hit pitching of Tim Kazukiewicz. John Navas had two doubles and a triple.
