Joseph Gill, 74, of Military Road, founder of Gill's Plumbing, died Thursday (June 21, 1990) in Newfane Inter-Community Memorial Hospital.
A native of Conrath, Wis., Gill moved to Niagara Falls 36 years ago. He operated Gill's Plumbing for 25 years until he retired in 1975.
He was a member of Elks Lodge 346 and Moose Lodge 585 and was a retired member of Active Hose Company of North Tonawanda.
Survivors include his wife, the former Jane Noworyta; two sons, Jerome of Sanborn and Robert of Amherst; a sister, Josephine Simons of Florida; two grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 9:30 a.m. Saturday in St. Leo's Catholic Church, 2748 Military Road, Town of Niagara, after prayers at 9 in the Lane Funeral Home Inc., 8622 Buffalo Ave. Burial will be in Riverdale Cemetery, Lewiston.
