3 ARRESTED, WEAPON SEIZED AFTER REPORTS OF SHOTS FIRED

Cold Spring Station police seized a 9 mm automatic pistol and 260 rounds of ammunition with the arrest of three young men after investigating a report that several persons fired an Uzi automatic weapon at a group at Landon and Roehrer streets Thursday evening.

No one in the group was hit by the shots, police said. The group told Officers Mark Vaughn and Daniel Rinaldo the persons who shot at them fled into a house at 76 Landon.

The officers reported finding seven young men in an upper apartment where they located the gun and the ammunition. Three suspects were arrested.

Ernest T. Lott, 22, of 218 Florida St. was charged with possession of a deadly weapon.

Melvin V. Williams, 17, of 247 Monroe St. and Norris A. Williams, 16, of 131 Koons Ave. were charged with obstructing governmental
administration.
