ELMA EARMARKS $13,250 FOR SENIOR CENTER RENTAL

The Elma Town Board has earmarked $13,250 in 1990-91 community development funds toward paying the rent on the senior citizens facility at 711 Rice Road owned by the Iroquois Central School District.

Supervisor John DiJoseph said he anticipates the rent will increase 9.9 percent and will require almost all the money. DiJoseph said that two other requests for funds -- for a portable toilet for use by attendants at the Creek Road transfer station and for helmets for youth bicyclists -- do not qualify.
