Services were held in Florida for Carl W. Moss, 66, a Buffalo native and former area bank employee who moved to Florida after his retirement.

Moss died June 13, 1990, in a Pompano Beach, Fla., hospital.

Born in Buffalo, Moss was a veteran of World War II. He served in the U.S. Navy as a medical assistant.

Moss worked at Marine Midland Bank for 16 years and retired in 1986. He moved to Florida shortly after that.

Surviving are his wife, Ruth Van Dyke of Deerfield, Fla.; a daughter, Valerie Wallace of Bath, Pa., and six grandchildren.
