10 RESPOND TO BOSTON CALL FOR COMMITTEE VOLUNTEERS

Ten requests from town residents to serve on committees were received by the Boston Town Board Wednesday in response to Superintendent Richard L. Kennedy's call for volunteers.

Roger J. McDonald of Kevington Court and Richard Siemann of Thornwood Drive were appointed to the Capital Improvement Committee.

Karen Blake of Boston State Road was appointed to the Conservation Board.

Seven requests were received to serve on the Codification Committee. Kennedy said the first purpose of the committee was to codify all existing laws and ordinances, a task now completed. It will next develop a new zoning law and map, which is mostly completed. The committee will then be dissolved.

In other matters, the board renewed a special-use permit for three years for Conrad Koch of Lower East Hill Road to raise horses, and approved a request by the town clerk to buy a second computer for her office.
