A reporter who is writing an unauthorized biography of Donald Trump was arrested after he crashed the mogul's 44th birthday party.
Village Voice reporter Wayne Barrett said he was handcuffed to a wall in an Atlantic City jailhouse for two hours after he was arrested at the Saturday night party at the Trump Castle casino, the New York Post reported Tuesday.
Barrett claimed he asked for an invitation to the party, but was denied because his unauthorized work makes him a pariah at Trump events.
He decided to go anyway, and was able to sneak into the party. But a PR man spotted him, and an "army" closed in and arrested him.
Barrett said he is considering legal action, and got what he wanted as well, because an aide also managed to sneak in and take "copious notes."
