VERA SCHULTZ, OPERATED PINE TREE INN

Services for Vera Schultz, former operator of the Pine Tree Inn on Buffalo Avenue, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the Otto Redanz Funeral Home, Michigan Avenue at 10th Street. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Park, Amherst.

Mrs. Schultz, 82, formerly of Third Street and Unity Park, died Tuesday (Jan. 30, 1990) in Mount View Health Facility, Lockport.

A native of Buffalo, the former Vera Schulthies was a longtime resident of Niagara Falls. She and her sister, the late Matilda "Tillie" Smith, operated the Pine Tree Inn for 10 years. Mrs. Schultz was a member of Epiphany Episcopal Church and the Ladies of Elks Lodge 346.

Survivors include a stepson, Joseph J. Yunke of Batavia; two stepdaughters, Marcella Wahl of Cheektowaga and Joan Yunke of Miami, Fla.; six stepgrandchildren; seven stepgreat-grandchildren, and a stepgreat-great-grandchild.
