A Mass of Christian Burial for Margaret A. Chesnut, former operator of the Lake Breeze Motel, will be offered at 9:30 a.m. Friday in St. Bernard's Catholic Church, 218 Hinman St. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Niagara Falls.
Mrs. Chesnut, 68, of Lake Road, died Tuesday (Jan. 30, 1990) in Mount St. Mary's Hospital, Lewiston.
A native of Niagara Falls, the former Margaret A. Lucantonio lived in the Youngstown and Ransomville area for 43 years. She and her husband, Charles F. Chesnut Sr., owned and operated the Lake Breeze Motel on Lake Road for 25 years.
She also worked in the Lewiston-Porter High School cafeteria for 10 years until she retired in 1986. She was a member of St. Bernard's Church.
Survivors, besides her husband, include three daughters, Daisy Truley of Nashville, Tenn., Nancy Walker of Milton, Tenn., and Mary "Toddy" St. Laurent; a son, Charles Jr. of Redlands, Calif.; four sisters, Mary Giammarco, Ida Zacher, Josephine Papucci and Vivian Evans, all of Niagara Falls, and 10 grandchildren.
