The American Lung Association of Western New York will hold an information session about a fund-raising Niagara Falls-Lake Placid bicycle trek from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Feb. 15 at Medaille College, 18 Agassiz Circle.
Cyclists will leave Niagara Falls June 24 and are to spend six days cycling to reach Lake Placid in the event, dubbed an "Olympic Tour."
The event is open to all cycling enthusiasts, but is limited to the first 75 participants. The association provides accommodations, breakfast and dinner, as well as road and mechanical support throughout the tour.
Proceeds will support the association's health education programs, which include programs to encourage people to quit smoking, management of lung disease and educational materials.
