A 32-year-old woman was blindfolded and tied up by a man who drove her around Buffalo Monday night before raping her, police said.
The suspect, described to be 25 or 30, forced the woman into her car at gunpoint about 6:45 p.m. in the Town of Tonawanda, according to a police report.
After ordering her to reveal her cash-withdrawal number for her bank card, the man then drove around Buffalo trying to withdraw money from bank machines. Police said they are unsure whether withdrawals were made.
The suspect then robbed the woman of her jewelry and watch before raping her at an unspecified location, she told Cold Spring Station police. The woman was then driven to a rear lot at 1227 Main St., where she was discovered by a night worker.
The woman was taken to the Erie County Medical Center for treatment.
No arrests had been made this morning, and police said they had no suspects.
