STANLEY J. KARLINSKI, RETIRED MANUFACTURER

A Mass of Christian Burial for Stanley J. Karlinski, 94, will be offered at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Martin's Catholic Church, 1140 Abbott Road.

Prayers will be said at 9:30 in the McMahon Funeral Home, 982 Abbott Road. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Lackawanna.

Karlinski, 94, died Sunday (Jan. 28, 1990) in Our Lady of Victory Hospital, Lackawanna, after a long illness.

A native of Poland, Karlinski came to Buffalo with his parents when he was 2. He owned and operated Stanley Ring Manufacturing at 501 Washington St. during the late 1920s. He sold the business to his brothers in 1959, who in turn sold the business to what is now Sunline Ring Manufacturing Co.

An avid amateur golfer, he was a member of the South Shore Country Club. He was also a member of the Holy Name Society of St. Martin's Church.

Surviving are his wife of 69 years, Elizabeth Myszker Karlinski; two daughters, Eleanor Shreenan and Doris Bigelow of Wilmington, Del.; a son, Richard; five sisters, Leona Dworzanowski, Sophia Hans, Pearl Bednarek, Gertrude McKenna and Adeline Wrzesinski; a brother, Edmund; 17 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren.
