A Mass of Christian Burial for Dr. Hugh J. McGee, a retired neurologist, will be offered at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church, 4414 S. Buffalo St., Orchard Park.
Prayers will be said at 9:30 in the Joseph K. Quinn Funeral Home, 6170 W. Quaker Road, Orchard Park. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Lackawanna.
McGee, 82, died Saturday (Jan. 27, 1990) in a Jackson, Mich., hospital.
Born in Buffalo, McGee graduated from Canisius High School in 1924, Canisius College in 1928 and the University of Buffalo School of Medicine in 1932, then joined Our Lady of Victory Hospital in Lackawanna.
After retiring from the hospital in 1975, McGee moved to Whispering Pines, N.C.,, where he lived for 13 years before returning to Lancaster in 1988. He then moved to Orchard Park. He moved to Jackson Dec. 27 to live near his son Dr. John McGee, a pathologist.
Besides his son John, he is survived by three other sons, Robert of Philadelphia, Thomas of Bloomington, Ind., and Joseph of Rockville, Md.; three sisters, Agnes Maher, Margaret McGee and Gertrude McGee, all of Orchard Park, and 14 grandchildren.
