PENNSYLVANIA WOMAN FACES DRUNKEN-DRIVING CHARGE

A Pennsylvania woman is in fair condition in the Hamot Medical Center in Erie after an accident early Sunday morning that was blamed on drunken driving.

Sarita A. Kinney, 33, of Union City was northbound on the Westfield-Sherman Road about 12:20 a.m., Chautauqua County deputies said, when she lost control of her car and it rolled over, throwing her from the car.

Her passenger, Jeffrey A. Cofer, 19, of Denver, Colo., is listed in stable condition in Westfield Memorial Hospital with a concussion. Ms. Kinney was taken to the Westfield Memorial Hospital, then transferred to the Erie facility.

Deputies charged her with driving while intoxicated, failure to keep right, failure to reduce speed, and not wearing her seat belt.
