JEWISH LIBERAL ARTS CLUB SETS MEETINGS

Fred Keller, actor and theater director, will speak at a meeting of Jewish Liberal Arts Club Feb. 5 at 11:30 a.m. in Temple Beth El. Sylvia Cohen is program chairwoman and luncheon will be served.

Members will have a guided tour of an exhibit, "Heritage and Mission: Jewish Vienna" Feb. 8 at 1:30 p.m. in the Buffalo and Erie County Historical Museum.

Gert Sackett will review "From Beirut to Jerusalem" by Tom Friedman when the club's Saturday Book Chat group meets Feb. 10 at 12:30 p.m. in the home of Lil Gerstman. Lenore Wile Reading Group will hear Jane Fischman review Olive Burns' "Cold Sassy Tree" Feb. 12 at 8 p.m. in the home of Janice Robins in Williamsville.

"Love" will be the Valentine's Day theme for a Feb. 14 meeting of the Poetry/Discussion Club in the home of Bernice Marschall in Buffalo.

Rose Cohen will review "Not Without My Daughter" when the Emma Lazarus Reading Group meets Feb. 20 at 1 p.m. in Sara Slater's home in Tonawanda. Literary Group will continue its discussion of Stephen Crane's "The Red Badge of Courage" Feb. 28 at 12:30 p.m. in the home of Tanya Ganson in Buffalo.

Board members will meet Feb. 19 at 7:30 p.m. in the home of Sheila Trossman in Williamsville.
