Women's Wear Daily, the fashion industry's trade newspaper, asked them and here's what it found out: Calvin Klein would be an architect. Oscar de la Renta, a painter. Mary McFadden would be a journalist in Africa. Donna Karan would want to sing like Barbra Streisand and dance like Martha Graham. And Betsey Johnson would be dead.
"I couldn't live if I wasn't a designer," she said.
