EGG HITS POLICE CAR; TEEN-AGER CHARGED

The windshield of an unmarked police car was splatterred with a raw egg Saturday, and a young man was charged with reckless endangerment and reckless driving in connection with the incident, police said.

Anthony Marchioni Jr., 19, of 2212 Forest Ave. faces City Court arraignment Monday. He is accused of throwing an egg at the windshield of an unmarked police car of the Niagara County Drug Task Force shortly before midnight Friday.

The officer driving the car said his vision was temporarily blocked and he nearly hit another car.

Marchioni was taken into custody following a brief chase on 10th Street. Police said he apparently intended to strike the vehicle of a person known to him.
