GEORGE J. PISA, OWNER OF FLORAL, BRIDAL SHOPS

A Mass of Christian Burial for George J. Pisa Sr., 87, of Central Avenue, a former florist and owner of a bridal shop, will be offered at 11 a.m. Monday in St. Anthony's Catholic Church, 42 Orchard St., Fredonia.

Prayers preceding the Mass will be said beginning at 10 Monday at the Pisa residence. Interment will be in St. Anthony's Cemetery.

Pisa died Thursday (Jan. 25, 1990) in his home.

He and his wife, Marie, now deceased, formerly owned the Pisa Florist Shop. He owned Arlene's Bridal Shop from 1953 to 1989.

Pisa was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church and the St. Anthony's Cemetery board of directors.

Surviving are three daughters, Frances Hornburg of Silver Creek, Marie Richardson of Macungie, Pa., and Arlene McDaniel of Ocean City, N.J.; a son, George Jr. of West Nyack; six grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.
