LINDA LOU STARS IN 'JAMBOREE' FROM WHEELING

Linda Lou Schriver, a country singer from Grand Island, will be the headline act Saturday night on the "WWVA Jamboree USA" radio show.

The live two-hour broadcast can be heard at 6 p.m.on WWVA (AM 1170) from Wheeling, W. Va. The 50,000-watt station reaches more than 18 states and six Canadian provinces. Linda Lou is celebrating her 10th year as a regular member of the "Jamboree" cast. She is the daughter of "Ramblin' Lou" Schriver and Joanie Marshall, owners of WXRL (AM 1300) in Lancaster.

Linda Lou's mother will accompany her on rhythm guitar. Her sister, Lynn Carol Schriver, will play keyboard and sing several duets with her. And her brother, Lou Schriver Jr., will perform a drum solo on the show.

Two full busloads of members of Linda Lou's International Fan Club will travel to Wheeling for the show.
