Private services will be held for former Buffalo resident Isadone VerCruysse, 78, of Syracuse.

VerCruysse died Wednesday (Jan. 24, 1990) in Crouse-Irving Memorial Hospital, Syracuse, after a brief illness.

Born in Belgium, he was an Army veteran of World War II. He retired in 1977 from Samar Sales Co. and had worked for Maunz Insulation Co.

Survivors include his wife, the former Onnalee Lonneu; a daughter, Sandra Osher of Syracuse; four brothers, Alphonse of Newfane, Edward of Cleveland, Albert of California and Nestor of Pennsylvania, and a sister, Clara Oliver of Medina.
