Hedria Lunken, a creativity consultant in business and education, and Myrna F. Young, executive director of Everywoman Opportunity Center, will be the keynote speakers at a conference focusing on women from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Niagara County Community College.
They will discuss "Women Focus on a Better Tomorrow" at the opening session of the conference. A series of workshops for men and women will follow. The workshops will cover re-entry into the workplace, risks and rewards of entrepreneurship, creative problem-solving, personal wellness, understanding oneself and others, and financial planning. A fashion show will conclude the program.
Co-sponsors of the conference are the U.S. Small Business Administration, Everywoman Opportunity Center and the three Chambers of Commerce that serve Niagara County. Registrations are being accepted by the Office of Community Education at NCCC.
