Services will be held this evening in Brownsville, Texas, for Carl J. Frys, 52, who worked for Trico Products Corp. in Buffalo for more than 30 years before being transferred to Texas three years ago.
Frys died Tuesday (Jan. 23, 1990) in his home in Rancho Viejo.
A Detroit native, Frys came to Buffalo as a child. He was employed here by Trico as a heat treater.
While in Buffalo, Frys was a fourth-degree member of the Knights of Columbus.
Surviving are his wife, the former Sharon Shanahan of Rancho Viejo; a son, Timmy; a daughter, Colleen; a stepson, Thomas LoCastro of Santa Cruz, Calif.; two stepdaughters, Rebecca and Dawn M. LoCastro, and his mother, Wanda Frys.
