Austin McC. Fox will speak on the "History of Symphony Circle" when the Amherst-Clarence and Ken-Ton divisions of Philharmonic Women's Committee of the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra have a luncheon to benefit the orchestra Thursday in the Marriott Inn. The program at 11:30 a.m. will precede the luncheon at 12:30 p.m. Patricia Bradley and Millie Sisti are in charge of reservations.

Plans for a special luncheon will be made at a meeting of Erie Salon 51, Eight and Forty American Legion Auxiliary, at noon Friday in George F. Lamm Post, American Legion, clubhouse. Members from Matthew Glab American Legion Post Auxiliary will be social hour hostesses.

St. Joseph Hospital Guild will sponsor a rummage sale Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the auditorium of the hospital in Cheektowaga. Items featured will include paperback books and craft books. Lunches will be available.

United Methodist Women of Kensington-Memorial United Methodist Church will participate in a special service celebrating the church's 100th anniversary at 11 a.m. Sunday. Bishop Forrest C. Stith, bishop of New York West Area of the United Methodist Church, will rededicate the church. The women are in charge of arrangements for a dinner in the church dining room after the service.

Nancy M. Stanley will be installed matron and George O. Stanley will be installed patron of Colonial Chapter 669, Order of the Eastern Star, Monday at 8 p.m. in Highland Temple preceding a reception for new officers.

Officers of the Senior Adult Social Club of the Jewish Center for the coming year are president, Phil Lombardo; vice president, Al Miller; treasurer, Fred Pulka; recording secretary, Merrill Molien; hospitality chairwoman, Louise Miller; program chairwoman, Josephine Lombardo; publicity, Gert Frank.

Dr. Rene S. Parmar, assistant professor in the University at Buffalo department of learning and instruction, will speak on "Indian Women Today: Mixing Tradition and Technology" at a meeting of United Methodist Women of Kenmore United Methodist Church Feb. 1 at 11:45 a.m. in the church. Patricia Hawke is chairwoman. Members of Janus and Martha circles will prepare and serve a luncheon.

Buffalo Chapter, Hadassah, will sponsor its annual Friday evening Erev Shabbat service Feb. 2 at 8:15 p.m. in Temple Beth Am. Lila Mintz and Tova Moonay will sing Kaddish and Robin Kuras is in charge of the team preparing the oneg shabbat.

Brookfield Country Club will have an open house from 2 to 6:30 p.m. Feb. 4. Donal M. Kinsella, a retired teacher, will speak on flags at a meeting of Clarence Women's Club Feb. 5 at 7:30 p.m. in Clarence Town Park clubhouse. Patricia Commisso, Betty Hazer and Betty Lindstedt will be hostesses. Members will have dinner and attend a performance in the Kavinoky Theater Feb. 23. Betty Andruscavage and Betty Vidal will be hostesses.
